Description
Magnetic nano-graphene oxide-supported molybdenum was readily prepared and identified as an efficient and recyclable catalyst for ring opening of various epoxides with ethereal hydrogen peroxide. The reaction proceeded under mild conditions to give β-hydroxy hydroperoxides in excellent yields at room temperature. The catalyst could be easily separated and recycled by applying a permanent magnet. Graphical abstract: .
