Determination of component concentrations in tungsten-rhenium alloys by means of photonuclear reactions

Description
Method was developed for determination of W and Re concentrations in tungsten-rhenium alloys. As compared with conventional activation analysis the proposed method is subjected to less strict limitations on reproduction exactness of many parameters, such as activation time, specimen weight, intensity of high energy γ-quanta source et. This is achieved by measuring ratios of peak intensities of γ-radiation with energies about 56 and 137 keV in a spectrum of tungsten-rhenium specimen, irradiated with high energy γ-quanta
