Several alternatives in gravitational separation of the channel boiling reactors

Description
Specifics of application of gravitational and inertial separation systems in the channel boiling reactors (CBR) is discussed. Dimensions of separators providing the permissible moisture removal and necessary water supply are compared. Some designs of vertical inertial separation systems are considered. It is shown that gravitational separation in harizontal drums is more preferable for CBR circulation circuit with a main circulation pump having constant rotation frequency while for turbopump circulation and perspective CBR it is advisable to use forced separation in vertical vessels, tube clusters or in the heads of technological channels
