Combined Ba and Cu adsorption on some tungsten faces
Description
Investigated is the change in the work function at the combined Ba and Cu adsorption on (110), (121), and (111). It is found out, that the minimum value of phi work function is connected linearly with the phi of the surface, initial for Ba adsorption. It follows from the results that at n<nsub(opt). phi(n) is determined by the backing work function and by the surface structure, but has a low sensitivity to the details of electron structure of surface atoms
