Experimental determination of heat conductivity of uranium dioxide
Creators

Description
Heat conductivity integral was measured for UO2 having density 91.6% of theoretical value in temperature interval from 200 - 1000 deg C. Obtained temperature dependence was approximated by a polynomial, its derivatives were used to calculate temperature dependent heat conductivity of UO2. Regularity obtained according to present measurements is the same as for the majority of dielectric polycrystal materials in the phonon conductivity region
