Temperature dependence of metalloids segregations on Fe-Cr-P-C amorphous alloys
Creators
Description
Using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy method formation of surface chemical composition in Fe-Cr-P-C system amorphous alloys due to thermal activation process was studied. Surface configurations of the elements was shown to be changed in accordance with the two-stages structural transformation. At the first stage the enrichment of surface layers with carbon and under-surface layers with chromium and phosphorus takes place. The second stage in the range of crystallization temperatures is characterized with oxygen and chromium content growth. That is caused by the volume decreasing. 7 refs., 3 figs
