Investigation of Ru(4) complexing in aqueous-methanol solutions by ion exchange method

Description
The relative absorption method employing KU-3 cationate and AV-17x8 anionite was used to study the behaviour of Ru(4) from K4Ru2OCl10 in the 1M HClO4-1M HCl-90%CH3OH-H2O system. The areas where complex ions with the ratios Ri:Cl=1:1 and Ru:Cl=1:2 exist were determined. The formation of ruthenium anionic complexes in water-methanol solutions involves an intermediate stage of solvation of hydroxocomplexes
