Description

Physical properties of superconductivity were studied with changing the doping level for the co-substitution of Pb for Bi and La for Sr in Bi-2201 phase. Zero-resistance T c of 43 K was obtained for as-grown crystals, and the anisotropy parameter γ was obtained from the resistivity ratio ρ c/ρ ab. The second-peak effect was observed in the temperature range of 20-30 K. In addition to the 40 K-class superconductivity, a new superconductivity with the onset temperature of about 75 K was observed in magnetic measurement. Irreversible behavior of the superconductivity was obtained in the magnetic field applied perpendicular to the sample surface
