The effect of time factor on dissolution of alloy and effectiveness of surface-active substances

Description
The influence of additions on the process, as a result of which stationary selective dissolution of a binary alloy, limited by the stage of charge transfer or liquid phase diffusion of electronegative component (An+), is replaced in time by nonstationary dissolution with slowed down solid phase diffusion of A and stationary proportional dissolution of both components, in succession, has been analyzed. The studied additions of diverse surfactants slow down tin dissolutions as compared with indium, increasing essentially the selectivity factor and selective dissolution period. 5 refs., 3 figs., 2 tabs
