Clinico-dosimetric aspects of radiotherapy of endometrium cancer

The method of linear programming on a computer of a single series is desribes in combination with the system of automated control over the mathematico-programmed support for rapid analysis of volumetric dose distributions from intracavitary gamma-therapy of endometrium cancer with 60Co sources of high specific activity on the apparatus AGAT-B. The qualitative parameters of optimization of the dosimetric schemes on a computer were based on the analysis of the data on comprehensive clinico-instrumental and X-ray radiological (bi contrast pelviography, lymphography and lymphoscanning, aortoarteriography) examination of 80 patients with endometrium cancer of the 1-3 stage. Conventional techniques of static and mobile gamma-therapy were analysed from the positions of combining radical radiotherapy with intracavitary irradiation on the apparatus AGAT-B. It is noted that various parts of the intestine may be zones of high risk of development of radiation complications
