Description
The structural, magnetic properties of Pr0.4Ca0.6Mn0.95V0.05O3 polycrystalline manganite have been studied. Reitveld refinement of room-temperature XRD data confirms the Pnma space group and orthorhombic structure of the sample. Magnetic study of the sample carried out between the temperature range 5-300 K. In this temperature range, multi-phase separated paramagnetic-charge ordered antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic cluster glass- reentrant spin glass behavior has been observed with the characteristic charge ordering temperature TCO = 256 K, Neel temperature TN = 123 K ferromagnetic cluster glass transition TC = 40 K. Due to the competition between ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic components, a complex magnetic behavior has been observed in the system at low temperature. (author)
