State and development forecast of the energy sector in the U.S.A
Description
Basic data on fossil fuels resources and reserves as well as their excavation in the U.S.A. are given and compared with the data from other countries. The prognosis of primary energy production and its consumption up to 2010 is presented and discussed. The prices of gasoline, natural gas and electric power in the U.S.A. and some other countries are compared. The strategic aims of the national energy policy are given. 8 refs, 4 tabs
