Study on dynamics of SiO2 shell targets in experiments at the Sokol device
Description
Temporal structure of the soft x radiation and spatial-temporal evolution of the plasma luminescence zone at the frequency of the heating laser radiation second harmonic have been measured in experiments at the 24-channel Nd laser ''Sokol'' unit on compression of SiO2 shell targets at the laser radiation flux density of (0.5-3.5)x1014 W/cm2. The experimental data for targets with different aspect ratios are compared with the results of numerical calculations made according to the ''Zarya'' program
