Inclusive distributions for a pomeron above one

Description
The inclusive distributions are calculated for many-pomeron exchange when the bare pomeron intercept is higher than one. Rescattering is included via two-particle n-pomeron coupling constants of eikonal type, and pomeron interactions are treated in the tree approximation. The inclusive spectra are related to the classical action of cut reggeon field theory with mass insertions. In impact parameter space the authors obtain asymptotically constant density and correlation functions inside a disc whose radius increases logarithmically with energy. The resulting distributions automatically satisfy momentum sum rules and positivity constraints. The multiplicity grows asymptotically as (ln s)3 and the multiplicity moments satisfy formal KNO scaling. (Auth.)
