Description
The nuclear electric power production has to be competitive and insure a high safety level for a poor cost price. In this framework the corrosion resistance is a key factor. After a presentation of the water physico-chemical properties the author details the corrosion of the primary and secondary systems. In a third part the PWR water chemistry specificities and their on-line control are dealt. (A.L.B.)
