Quadrupole splitting and nuclear magnetic relaxation in ErCrO3 near the Morin-type transition

Description
Nuclear magnetic resonance on Cr nuclei in antiferromagnetic ErCrO3 near the ''easy axis - easy plane'' phase transition (Morin transition) is investigated. The following novel phenomena are observed: a) a dependence of the transverse nuclear magnetic resonance rate on the quadrupole multiplet number; b) an anomalous transverse nuclear magnetic relaxation whose rate cannot be measured by the standard two-pulse echo technique; c) nonequidistant quadrupole splitting
