Directional detection of cosmic radiation gamma component and views of its origin

Description
The theories of the origin of cosmic radiation are approached with regard to the directional detection of the primary component of this radiation by astronomical satellites. Three processes form the galactic sources of gamma radiation: 1. interaction of cosmic radiation with interstellar gas, 2. electron bremsstrahlung of cosmic radiation in the field of interstellar gas nuclei, 3. collisions of cosmic radiation electrons with low energy photons of stellar (light) radiation. The spatial distribution of gamma radiation in the Milky Way is mapped and related to the distribution of hydrogen in the universe. Cosmic radiation in our galaxy mostly originates from the ring of the Milky Way, the second galactic source are supernova explosions in the centre of the Galaxy. (E.F.)
