Effect of glycine on solubility of lithium, sodium and potassium pentabarates in water

Description
Solubility and refractive index of saturated solutions in systems lithium (sodium, potassium) pentaborate-glycine-water at 25 deg C have been studied. It is ascertained, that the systems are of simple eutonic type. Glycine has a positive lyotropic effect on pentaborates, increasing from potassium salt to lithium one
