Coercive properties of the multilayered Gd/Si/Co film with the compensation point

Description
The temperature dependence of coercive field Hc of the multilayered [Gd75A / Si5A / Co30A / Si5A]20 film with a ferrimagnetic ordering of the magnetic moments of cobalt and gadolinium layers has been determined. The maximal value of Hc was observed at a temperature about the compensation point of 118 K. A strong correlation between the changes in coercive field and spontaneous magnetization in the studying temperature range is established
