A Design of an Integrated System For a Full-Scope PSA

Description
As the applications of risk-informed regulation has increased recently, NPP licensees have been requested to perform PTAs for various external and low-power/shutdown events. To reduce human and computational resources as well as time spent for conducting all the requested PSAs, it is necessary to develop a software platform to automate many parts of the PSAs. In this paper, we propose an integrated system called OCEANS to sup-port the development of a full-scope PSA. OCEANS utilizes the existing PSA software developed in KAERI to perform individual PSAs and adapts text-based commands for their communication. The text-based commands reduce dependency among the software and enable to add new ones easily. It also provides a table view and facilitates to keep track of the development progress of individual PSA models
