Quantitative evaluation of reverse dynamic effects in steam generators using spectrum analysis

Description
The reverse dynamic effects make the water level control of the steam generator the most difficult along with the flow errors. Therefore, the quantitative evaluation of the reverse dynamics is interesting and valuable to analyze the nuclear steam generator and design its controller. The power spectral density function distributes the power of the signal for frequencies. An input-exciting signal is assumed to be the band-pass white noise which is more realistic than the ideal white noise. The intergration of the power spectral density function over frequency is defined as energy. We derive the energy contribution of each dynamic mode by using the power spectral density function. Its energy contribution can be calculated easily by arithmetic calculation. (Author)
