Description

As described in an earlier paper at this meeting (ENDF/B Yield Evaluation for 1992: Methods and Content), 60 yield sets (independent and cumulative) for 36 fissioning nuclides have been evaluated. The various statistical checks described there are necessary but not sufficient because of the paucity of measured data. A number of integral computations are possible, which are used to validate the basic evaluations or which suggest errors in the yields. Here we describe the effort made at Los Alamos before this meeting. 3 tabs., 5 figs., 13 refs
