The magnetic contribution to electrical resistivity in thin gadolinium films
Description
The magnetic contribution to the electrical resistivity in thin magnetic films for the special case of h.c.p. structure is derived. Special attention is given to anomalies due to the magnetic phase transition. The numerical results obtained for the case of polycrystalline gadolinium films show the resistivity dependence on the film thickness and the surface properties. (author)
