Supplementary investigations concerning the exchange of iodine from non-volatile organic iodine compounds
Description
The decay of 1(125J) Jod-(1-14C) Dodecane into free (125J)- has been studied. The (125J)- can be extracted into 3n HNO3, its amount is a measure of the chemical decay rate of the iodine-organic compound. This decay is a very complex process and lasts several days at temperatures 14deg C T 41deg C. The WAK-exhaust condensate was studied for its β-decay with a Quantulus Beta-Spectrometer. We could identify 129J, but the WAK-exhaust condensate contains one further, non-identified activity. With the help of dithizon we could obtain a number of compounds suitable for plasma desorption time-of-flight mass-spectrometry. A literature survey about this field was completed. (orig.) Es wurde der Zerfall von 1(125J)Jod-(1-14C) Dodekan in freies (125J)- untersucht. Das freie Anion kann in die waessrige Phase extrahiert werden, sein Betrag ist ein Mass fuer die kinetische Zersetzung der jod-organischen Verbindung. Die Zersetzungskinetik ist kompliziert und die Gesamtzersetzung dauert viele Tage im Temperaturbereich von 14deg C < T < 41deg C. Das WAK-Abgaskondensat enthaelt zwei β-aktive Nuklide, wie mit dem Quantulus Beta-Spektrometer festgestellt wurde. Eine Komponente ist 129-J, die andere Komponente ist noch unbekannt. Die Flugzeitmassenspektrometrie konnte mit Hilfe von Dithizon-Derivaten erfolgreich eingesetzt werden. Eine Literaturrrecherche wurde vervollstaendigt. (orig.)
