Interferometric observations of the radio source 3S 134 in the decametric wave length range

Description

The results are presented of the observation of the radio source 3C 134 made by means of the wide-band decameter radio interferometer URAN-1, the base of 42.2 km being oriented along the parallel. It is shown that the angular structure of this object does not appreciably differ from its radio brightness distribution at the meter and decimeter waves. The analysis of radio interferometric measurements performed in the band of 20 to 1425 MHz has permitted to estimate the angular size of the source, which at the 50 per cent intensity level has been found equal to 37''+-7'', the Gaussian isotropic distribution of radio brightness being adopted
