New free-release capacities developed for monitoring of material at NPP A-1 and their testing

Description

Two new monitoring systems for industrial free release procedures were designed and tested, viz. (i) a system for free-release measurements of concrete and contaminated soil materials in 600 L containers, and (ii) an industrial system for sorting-out contaminated soil whose activity exceeds predetermined release limits. The design of the two systems is described in detail. (orig.)
