Description

Highlights: • ACR DM phantom has been implemented in the ACR accreditation for FFDM since 2017. • There is no significant difference between ACR SFM and ACR DM phantoms for AGDs. • ACR DM phantom provides better discernment to assess specks and fibers. - Abstract: Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of the new American College of Radiology (ACR) digital mammography (DM) phantom in evaluating phantom image quality (IQ) and average glandular dose (AGD) in a nationwide survey on DM systems.
