On the determination of the Sun internal angular velocity using helioseismological data
Description
Based on the data of Drevall and Harvey (1984) and Brown and Morrow (1987) observations of solar oscillation acoustic (5-minute) mode frequency rotational splitting parameters, angular velocity in the equator plane at 0.06 ≤r/R≤0.9 and latitudinal differential rotation at 0.4≤r/R≤0.9 are found. Reduction of the latitudial differential rotation in the radiative zone is ascertained. It is shown that according to the data available reliable determination of the angular velocity gradient in the convective zone is not possible. A method of initial observation processing allowing one to increase the accuracy of internal solar rotation determination is proposed
