Paper describes the most essential results of the efforts to design 600 mm diameter pilot bushings. Paper presents the analysis of the effect of design elements and of geometrical parameters on the features of bearings and the brief information on the results of bench tests of the advanced design of journal bearings for K-1000-5.9/50 steam turbine for the Bushehr NPP
