Relation between internal heating effect and track density during electro-chemical etching of Lexan polycarbonate
Description
During electro-chemical etching of Lexan polycarbonate, heat generation takes place even at low frequencies (<kHz). A correlation between detector response (tracks/cm2) and the heating rate has been observed. The study indirectly reveals the relation between track density and polymer loss index (ε'tan δ). (author)
