Description

Structure of free uranocene molecule U(C8H8)2 is studied using high temperature gaseous electron diffraction. The main molecular constants and structural parameters R(UC)=2.665(5), R(UH)=3.49(5) A, α(CCC)=135(2) deg are determined. In uranocene molecule plane aromatic rings (C8H8 are parallel symmetric relatively each other. Molecule parameters in solid and gaseous phases are close by the value
