Thermal analysis of LEHPIA RFQ components

Description

3 MeV RFQ which is being developed in IADD has many components like tuners, coupling cells and end plates which are essential for RF control. These components are expected to be in close dimensional tolerance. Since they are exposed to RF heating which cause thermal distortion, the heat should be removed through circulation of coolant. Coolant channel has been made through these components to restrict temperature rise and thermal distortion. Correlations for heat transfer coefficient have been used in thermal analysis. (author)
