The dismistification of the use of nuclear energy the population of Goiania city, passive expectator of the major radiological accident of the world, is essential for their tranquility. This article describes the educational program developed by the technical staff of the Comissao Nacional de Energia Nuclear/Distrito de Goiania, to explain, and tranquilize the population of Goiania city about this polemical matter.
