Description
The side-effect of every nuclear weapon explosion ignited in great height is able to checkmate a technological society without causing any further damage by heat, pressure, radiation or fallout. This side-effect, the electromagnetic pulse (EMP), has been known for some years, but only little information has become public as the responsible persons are afraid that the discussion about arms modernization might obtain new dimensions. How does the EMP come into being. What effects does it have on electronic components. Do important military communication lines also break down. Has it thus become impossible to control wars. Ein Nebeneffekt jeder in grosser Hoehe gezuendeten Kernwaffenexplosion kann eine technologische Gesellschaft schachmatt setzen, ohne weiteren Schaden durch Hitze, Druck, Strahlung oder Fallout anzurichten. Dieser Nebeneffekt, der EMP - elektromagnetischer Puls -, ist schon seit einigen Jahren bekannt, doch sind bisher nur wenige Informationen ueber ihn an die Oeffentlichkeit gedrungen, weil die Verantwortlichen befuerchten, dass die Ruestungsdiskussion in der Oeffentlichkeit neue Dimensionen erhaelt. Wie entsteht der EMP. Welche Auswirkungen hat er auf elektronische Bauteile. Fallen durch seine Einwirkungen auch wichtige militaerische Kommunikationsstraenge aus.
