Description

Neutron nuclear data on krypton isotopes have been evaluated in the incident neutron energy range from 1 keV to 20 MeV. The phenomenological optical model potential was employed, in order to calculate total cross section of natural krypton. This calculation was based on the coupled channel method. Optical potential parameters were obtained by best fitting the calculated result with experimental total cross section. The neutron transmission coefficients were calculated which were used for getting the cross sections of neutron emission from compound nucleus in statistical process. Compound, pre-equilibrium, and direct reaction processes were taken into consideration for cross section calculation. The present calculation results are compared with the experimental data and major evaluated nuclear data libraries. It is observed that the present evaluation can explain the experimental data reasonably well. (author)
