chemical studies on the determination of uranium by different methods
Description
spectrophotometric methods are widely used for the analysis of trace and micro amounts of various elements. several reagents have been applied to increase both the sensitivity and selectivity of those methods in a manner to reach a very low detection limit. however, in case of uranium quite low detection limit is required for exploration of their ores, during ore processing or else for fuel reprocessing, wastewater and radiation protection. in other words, it might be necessary to find rapid, accurate and sensitive spectrophotometric methods in a manner to be able to analyze ppm and ppb levels. alternatively, the problem of analyzing micro amount might be solved using derivative spectrophotometry, surfactant, preconcentration, solvent extraction and masking agents
