Charge-changing cross section measurements of pd-shell nuclei at around 300 MeV/nucleon at HIRFL-CSR
- 1. School of Physics and Nuclear Energy Engineering, Beihang University, Beijing (China)
Description
Experimental charge-changing cross section (CCCS) data have been used to derive rms proton distribution radii of neutron-rich light nuclei by combining the Glauber model. In the last years, we preformed CCCS measurements of pd-shell nuclei at around 300 MeV/nucleon at the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL-CSR), China. In this contribution, we report the experimental progress including the experiment principle, the detectors development and some preliminary results. (author)
