Electrical properties of granulated films on the base of borides of rare earths

Description
Temperature dependence of resistance is studied for granulated films on the base of equimolar double hexaboride of europium and praseodymium within the temperature range of 4.2-700 K. S-like dependence of films' resistance on the temperature is obtained for the first time. This dependence is well explained in the tunnel-barrier model of conductivity by high values of width and height of potential barrier of dielectric interlayers between the conducting phase particles. The obtained theoretical curve is in good agreement with experimental data
