Transmission probability in one-dimensional normal-metal multichannel structure
Description
In this paper, the strictly one-dimensional normal metal multichannel structures are considered. We point out that the structures in multichannel cases can also be treated with an improved form of Buettiker's method, which was originally used for two channel cases. A formula for multichannel transmission coefficient is presented. As a simple example, the numerical results for three branches are given, which show the application of the formula and illustrate the transmission probability resonances in such structures
