Influence of the Pauli principle on the optical potential for α + 16O scattering
Description
The problem of alpha + 16O scattering has been studied using a model in which the effective intercluster potential contains a Pauli repulsive core and has an odd-even dependence on the orbital angular momentum. The analysis reproduces essential features of the scattering problem and yields the feature of large back-angle enhancement
