MRI: today and tomorrow
Description
The Intera family of Philips MR systems has been designed to meet the MR imaging needs of today, as well as emerging techniques such as controlled drug and gene delivery. Advanced features include compact magnet technology, multiple receiver coils, and SENSE parallel imaging for ultrafast acquisition. The family has recently been extended to include a 3.0 T system, explicitly designed for practical clinical application as well as research. (orig.)
