The analysis of gamma-ray induced Doppler broadening (GRID) measurements

  • 1. Institut Max von Laue - Paul Langevin (ILL), 38 - Grenoble (France)

Description

The theory used to analyze Gamma-ray Induced Doppler broadening (GRID) and Neutrino Induced broadening (NID) measurements is reviewed. The analysis of GRID measurements is done using a collision model which can be used for both monoatomic and diatomic targets. The NID measurements are analysed using a phonon creation model.
