Statistical fluctuations and the double differential cross section for energy and angle in deep inelastic reactions

Description
We use a model which accounts for dissipation and statistical fluctuations to compute the double differential cross section. The calculation is performed for the 388 MeV Ar + Th system. The typical experimental pattern of the cross section versus angle and energy is reproduced. (orig.)

Zur Berechnung des doppelten differentiellen Wirkungsquerschnitts wird ein Modell verwendet, das Dissipation und statistische Schwankungen beruecksichtigt. Gegenstand der Berechnung ist das System Ar + Th bei 388 MeV. Das typische Muster des Wirkungsquerschnitts bezogen auf Winkel und Energie wird wiedergegeben. (orig.)Additional details
