High-voltage pulse generator with a shielding solenoid

Description

A pulse generator with a solenoid for protecting condensers from pulse overvoltages is proposed. The protection solenoid is part of the Arkadiev-Marx generator circuit and surrounds the generator over its entire length. The generator is used in a system for supplying the JINR two-metre streamer chamber and is rated for output voltage of approximately 60 kV
