Charge transfer in the low-temperature radiolysis of styrene-butadiene block copolymers
- 1. Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Fiziko-Khimicheskij Inst., Moscow (Russian Federation)
Description
A study was made on radiation electric conductivity of polystyrene, polybutadiene and block-copolymers of butadiene with styrene under the effect of accelerated 75 keV electrons in vacuum at 100 K. The existence of negative deviation of radiation conductivity constant Am from additivity at variation of block-copolymer compositions was revealed. The conclusion about interphase charge transport from polystyrene to polybutadiene microdomains was made. The conclusion was supported by the data on drift mobility of charge carriers and the influence of donor-acceptor impurities of radiation electric conductivity of analyzed polymers. 21 refs.; 6 figs.; 2 tabs
