Keeping track of airborne gamma emissions with an on-line system
Description
On-line gamma monitoring has an important place in determining airborne gamma doses and in alerting the proper authorities when an unexpected release has been detected. To fulfil these functions, the high pressure ionization chamber, combined with data transmission to an on-line computer system, provides an effective approach to this phase of a monitoring programme.
