Database on regional bedrock of geo-environmental properties for ground disposal of the high level radioactive wastes
- 1. Geological Survey of Japan, Tsukuba, Ibaraki (Japan)
Description
This study aims at construction of a general data base on geo-environmental property informations to evaluate reliability on ground disposal of the high level radioactive wastes in Japan, and establishment of a general evaluation method on geological environment for ground disposal of the high level radioactive wastes by analyzing influence of saline and so forth on deep bedrock around the disposal site together with by acquiring actually measured data on geo-environmental properties at ground depth of coastal area. Then, in 1998 fiscal year, study on geo-environmental property information data base, preparation of actual measured data on a geo-environmental property depth basis informations, and experimental study on geo-environmental properties at depth, were carried out. These have been carried out to make up 'An integration on the secondary disposal study on the high level radioactive wastes' and to supply some actual data already obtained. (G.K.)
