Scattering amplitude in high energy potential scattering for the general even power potential

Description
The small angle high - energy scattering amplitude of a general even power potential, which is expandable in ascending powers of r and non-singular in coordinate space, is evaluated following Glauber-Moliere approximation. It has been shown that the scattering amplitude A decreases exponentially with momentum transfer q and not according to a power law of q, thus resembling in behaviour that of elastic scattering of elementary particles.
