Analysis of neutron spectra in interaction of 22-MeV protons with nuclei

Description
We analyze the neutron spectra from reactions induced by 22-MeV protons in the nuclei 27Al, 52Cr, 56Fe, 58/sup ,/60Ni, 90/sup ,/91/sup ,/94Zr, 115In, and 181Ta. The equilibrium emission spectra of neutrons are described in the framework of the statistical theory, and the level-density parameters of 30 nuclei are determined. The cross sections of the reactions in the individual states of the evaporative cascade are compared with experiment
