Investigation of angular distributions in the inelastic pp interactions in the range from 20 to 200 GeV/c
Description
Angular distributions of secondary charged particles for 20, 67, 200 GeV energies of a primary proton are studied by the nuclear photoemulsion method. It is shown, that with the energy increase by an order a mean number of recoil protons per an interaction changes slightly from 0.25+-0.02 for 20 GeV to 0.24+-0.02 for 67 GeV and 0.19+-0.1 for 200 GeV. A mean number of leading particles per an interaction is 0.77+-0.04; 0.71+-0.05 and 0.64+-0.02 for 20,67 and 200 GeV correspondingly. A mean dispersion value increases with the energy increase and decreases with the multiplicity growth for a given energy. The fraction of asymmetrical and double-model showers is shown to increase with the energy increase
